ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hi! My name is Abigail Panneck and I am a Philadelphia-based artist, born and raised in the Delta region of Arkansas. I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Arkansas, where I spent years as a furniture fabricator and woodshop supervisor. During this time I developed a deep appreciation for materials, design, and fabrication - an approach that continues to define my work today.
ABOUT SCAN LAMP
SCAN LAMP is the project that brings all my interests together, translating place and memory into form. Each collection features lamp shades created from documentation of distinct urban environments, capturing texture, atmosphere, and spatial experience. No two lamps are the same, and no two collections represent a city in the same way, making each piece a unique reflection of its origin..
